• Great for hyaluronic acid serums, clear facial gels, gel-creams, primer-like “blur” textures, aloe gels, aftershave gels, acne gels (cosmetic use), body gels, scalp serums, styling gels, micellar/cleansing gels, hand sanitizing-style gels (cosmetic), and makeup mixing gels.
• Typical use: 0.1–1.0% (start 0.2–0.5% for serums; 0.6–1.0% for firmer gels). Sprinkle into water phase with good mixing to avoid clumps; allow full hydration. Many systems thicken at neutral pH—adjust to ~pH 5.5–7 as needed. Add humectants, actives, then preservative/fragrance last.
