The round base, slender two-piece arm, and cone-shaped shade are constructed of metal. For versatility, both the arm and base of the shade include articulation points, allowing you to adjust the top half of the arm and the shade angle to direct the light wherever it's needed. A rotary switch located on the shade easily turns the 40W bulb on and off, while the lamp is powered by a 5' cord.
